Abstract

This collection contains materials regarding the Elon Players at Elon College. It contains materials dating between 1940 and 1978. The materials include (but are not limited to) essays, flyers, newspaper clippings, audition and make-up forms, performances, and programs. The collection is arranged chronologically and then alphabetically by type of material. Specification is given to item type when necessary.

Abstract

This collection consists primarily of letters written to Eula Mae Massey during the 1920s. Some of the letters reflect her time spent at Elon College as a student, as well as romantic relationships she had with various individuals. There is a small amount of printed material reflecting her time at Elon as music major. There is not a significant amount of information within this collection that offers biographical information of Eula Mae Massey.

Abstract This collection contains materials related to the literary societies that once existed at Elon College. Specifically, this collection has documents from the following literary societies: Clio, Philologian, Psiphelian, Appollo, Thalia, Dr. Samuel Johnson's, and Panvio. Abstract

The collection houses information pertaining to Residence Life at Elon University. This includes information about all of the dormitories that have ever existed on Elon's campus, including the current: Colonnades, Danieley, East, Global, and Historic Neighborhoods. Information about various Living Learning Communities (LLC's) around campus are also included.

Abstract

The purpose of the Student Government Association, authorized by the Elon University Administration, is to represent the rights and opinions of the student body in a manner consistent with the mission of Elon University, to provide for appropriate student activities, and to join with the faculty and administrators of the university in building a stronger, more effective educational community.
