Christian Church History Ledger
This is a large ledger book that represents a chronology of the history of the Christian Church denomination that was founded in the United States in the late 18th and early 18th century by James O’Kelly. It covers the denomination’s split from the Methodist Church, the founding of the church’s conferences, and the founding of Graham College, the forerunner of Elon College.

Church History New Jersey Christian Conference Collection
This is a collection of materials related to the New Jersey Christian Conference of the Christian Church. It includes files on the various churches of the conference, which encompassed congregations in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. The NJCC merged with the Middle Atlantic Conference of the Congregational Church in 1931.

Church History United Church of Christ 1957 Union Collection
This is a collection of materials regarding the proposed union between the Congregational Christian Churches and the Evangelical and Reformed Church, which created the United Church of Christ in 1957. Documents are from both the pro-union and anti-union perspectives. Material include newsletters, booklets, pamphlets, leaflets, correspondence, brochures, broadsides, and packets. This collection is arranged by document type, and then chronologically.
Church History United Church of Christ Collection
This is a collection of materials related to the United Church of Christ (UCC). The materials in this collection date from 1954 to 2002. Items include minutes, reports, brochures, correspondence, resolutions, essays, agendas, budgets, guidelines, newsletters, questionnaires, memos, manuals, financial statements, articles, newspaper clippings, press releases, inventories, sermons, speeches, programs, statements, and by-laws. Folders are arranged by subject, type of document, and year.

This is a collection of ledgers related to the Southern Convention of the Christian Church. The ledgers include financial records, minutes, and church membership rolls.
Classes of Elon Collection
This collection contains materials related to the graduating classes of Elon University from 1891 to the present. The materials contain information on class reunions, homecomings, graduations, and other events. The materials include (but are not limited to) correspondence, invitations, programs, general information, rosters, flyers, brochures, press releases, newspaper clippings, and other documents regarding each class. The collection is arranged chronologically by class year.

This collection includes documents relating to the Convocation ceremonies held at Elon University, beginning in 1962 and continuing to present day. The collection is arranged chronologically by the date of the convocation.

Cultural Calendar Collection
This collection is comprised of the Cultural Calendars which summarize the music, visual, theatre, and lecture events that have taken place at Elon each year. The collection is arranged chronologically. The Belk Library Archives and Special Collections has an internal database that documents all the specific events included in the collection. Please consult a member of the Archives staff for more information about specific events included in the collection.
Dewey Hooper Collection
This collection is arranged alphabetically by type of material, and then into seven series. Where applicable, within each series the materials are arranged chronologically. The seven series are: Artifact; Books; Correspondence; Lists; Literary Productions; Photographs; Printed Material. Most of the materials in this collection pertain to Dewey Hooper as a student at Elon College during 1939 and 1940 and as a member of the US Army Air Forces Reserve during the early stages of WWII.

Dr. C. E. Newman Collection
This collection consists of the papers of Dr. C. E. Newman, minister and Historian of the Southern Christian Convention. Included are historical reports, sermons, Sunday School lessons, funeral orations, correspondence, and business documents. The papers were collected from Dr. Newman’s study at the Union Congregational Church in Virgilina, Virginia, and donated to the Church History Room of Elon College.
Dr. Jack O. White Collection
This is a collection of documents, artifacts, photographs, and recordings which belonged to Dr. Jack O. White (1927-2019), Professor of Music Emeritus at Elon College (now University). A renowned teacher and trumpeter, Dr. White taught at Elon from 1962-1986. The collection is organized into seven series: Academic Work, Artifacts, Awards, Correspondence, Photographs, Printed Material, and Recordings.
