Abstract

This collection contains items such as deeds, indentures, legal agreements, contracts, and certificates that relate in some manner to Elon University. Many of the documents included in the collection pertain to land surrounding Elon University that was purchased or donated to the institution. Additionally, many of the documents reflect agreements between individuals and Elon University, banks and Elon University, and businesses and Elon University. The collection is arranged first chronologically, then alphabetically by type of material, then alphabetically by name or subject associated with the contents of each folder.
