This collection houses planning information for several cultural events that happen annually, such as commencements and convocations, or irregularly, such as inaugurations. Planning information includes budget notes, lines of march, correspondence, and programs.

Biographical / Historical

Much of this collection was created by University Historian, George Troxler who helped plan commencements and convocations for the university for many years. After Troxler retired from this role, it was taken over by Jeff Clark, who is the executive director of cultural programs and events.

Abstract

This collection was created from documents collected by planning committees for annual events. These papers help the university plan large events and coordinate faculty, staff and students.

This collection is arranged into 9 archival boxes. All 9 boxes are arranged by chronologically by events, and then alphabetically within folders.
