The Undergraduate Research Collection includes information related to several forums for Undergraduate Research. This includes CELEBRATE!, SOURCE (Symposium on Undergraduate Research and Creative Endeavours), SURE (Summer Undegraduate Research Experience), SURF (Spring Undergraduate Research Forum), NCUR (National Conferences on Undergraduate Research), and Undergraduate Research. The first record of Undergraduate Research at Elon University was a memorandum from 1994 calling for the recommendation of students to participate in the Student Undergraduate Research Forum. In 1995, NCUR was introduced to Elon University and provided students with the opportunity to share their research with others around the country. CELEBRATE started at Elon University in 2006 to include "a week-long celebration of student achievements in academics and the arts" in edition to SURF Day. SURE is an eight week program for Elon students to work on full-time research with a faculty member. The first document mentioning SURE is an email invitation to attend the students final presentations. The first record of SOURCE is an email correspondence from 2007 describing it as "not a venue for presentation of the product of research, but rather a forum for discussion of the practice of undergraduate research".
