Abstract

This collection includes documents and items related to the Wellness Program at Elon University. The Wellness Program is geared towards faculty and staff at Elon to help create a healthful living and work environment and life. According to their website in 2014, "The Elon Wellness Center offers wellness programming for Elon University employees, their dependents covered under Elon's insurance 18 and older, and retirees as a work place benefit. We believe in a holistic approach to wellness which will enhance work/life balance for our university community. Using assessments, education, and interventions, we will assist you in making: 'The Rest of your life the best of your life.'" Also mentioned on their website is their mission which states, "We promote a culture and climate where faculty/staff can become more engaged in healthy lifestyle behaviors through the provision of health and wellness resources and information."
